108 Contemplations Proceeds - Supporting those who help others All proceeds will be split equally between the Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico and ABQ+ Community Fund. I’ve chosen these two organizations specifically because they are working to alleviate suffering of some of the most vulnerable people in my wider community. More info about RRFB and ABQ+ Community Fund can be found below. “Roadrunner® Food Bank of New Mexico, a Feeding America member, is the largest non-profit dedicated to solving food insecurity in New Mexico. As a food distribution hub, we provide food to hundreds of affiliated member partners around the state including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and regional food banks. We also distribute food through specialized programs helping children, families and seniors at schools, low-income senior housing sites, senior centers and with and through healthcare partnerships. Every week, tens of thousands of hungry children, seniors and families are reached through this statewide hunger relief network. We are working together with our partners, volunteers and contributors to end food insecurity and hunger in New Mexico.” https://www.rrfb.org/, last accessed May 7, 2025.) RRFB has a matching grant of $100,000 all May, doubling the impact of our contribution. “ABQ+ Community Fund is a collective of local BIPOC trans and queer organizers working in solidarity to ensure our queer and gender-expansive community of the global majority will survive and thrive. We raise money and create financial opportunities, such as direct cash transfers, financial wellness sessions, and connection to additional local mutual aid support for queer and trans BIPOC individuals living in the greater ABQ area....We noticed that it’s most often people who look and live like us who are facing life-threatening hardship in our community. The ABQ+ Community Fund is one way we work to ensure all of our safety, security and ability to thrive. We’re creating a pool of funds to give out direct cash transfers to queer and trans BIPOC people when they need it most, because we know that when people have financial resources, they can best meet their own needs. "Donations can be made to @abqplus on Venmo. For more information, please email abqpluscommunityfund@gmail.com” – ABQ+ Community Fund Organizer – ABQ+ Community Fund Organizer
